What is North Dallas Early Childhood PTA?
North Dallas Early Childhood PTA is a very special organization designed to enhance the parenting experience. It is one of over 25 early childhood PTAs within the Dallas Metroplex. There are no geographic boundaries and no requirements for having children enrolled in preschool.

The monthly general meetings feature informative speakers on a variety of topics of interest to mothers of young children.

Where are meetings held?
Cochran Chapel United Methodist Church
9027 Midway Road, just south of NW Hwy.

When are the meetings?
1st Thursday morning of each month, September through May.

9:30 a.m. – coffee and refreshments
10:00 a.m. – business meeting
10:30 a.m. – featured speaker or program
11:30 a.m. – conclusion

Is there childcare available?
Yes, nursery care for children 6 months of age and older, as well as preschool activities are provided during the meetings with reservations and a nominal fee. Childcare is available from 9:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Children younger than 6 months are welcome in the meetings with their moms.

Are there events for working moms?
Yes! There are afternoon and early evening playgroups for moms and kids. All moms are also encouraged to attend our popular Moms Night Out and couples events. We also send out a daily email with great information that all moms appreciate.

Membership in the NDECPTA is available without regard to race, color, creed or national origin. The NDECPTA has an annual Round-Up in August for all new and returning members. In addition to Round-Up, membership is open throughout the year to anyone interested. Each member pays annual dues of $35.
