Please join us the first Thursday of the month at Meaders Hall at Cochran Chapel United Methodist Church located at 9027 Midway Road (southwest corner of Midway Road and Northwest Highway).  Childcare is available with reservation.  Please see Nursery Information below for more details.

We encourage you to come at 9:30 am to socialize, grab a bite to eat and get your morning coffee. The speaker starts approximately at 10:30am and we wrap up by 11:30am.

Come learn about the special year-round activities in the PTA and hear Jill Wallis, Central Market’s Healthy Living Manager. She will have tips on how to get healthy and prepare easy meals for the table and in the lunchbox.

Maria Smith, 29-year educator, children’s performer and author will have helpful, creative ideas on getting your little ones school ready.

Get a jumpstart on planning your summer activities by visiting with local camps, schools and businesses.

April 5 – "Mommy Makeovers for Spring"
Stylists will give us simple clothing, hair and make-up ideas to make even a morning in the carpool lane more fashionable!

May 3 - End of the Year Brunch and Raffle

2011-2012 Evening Programs Oct. 27 – "Public School Forum"
On Thursday, October 27th, the NDECPTA will host a Public School Forum at 7pm at Cochran Chapel. Come learn about your neighborhood elementary schools. Dallas ISD officials, school principals and PTA presidents will be on hand to answer your questions.

March 28 – "Mary Flo Ridley"
On Wednesday, March 28th, 2012 the NDECPTA along with Preston Hollow Early Childhood Association will host Mary Flo Ridley, a nationally recognized speaker on how to talk to your children about sex. Her presentation, "Sooner Than You Think-Simple Answers to Challenging Questions" will help us tackle this very important topic. Watch for more details in the Daily PTA.

We think that one of the biggest benefits to being a NDECPTA member is the nursery that is available during all of our meetings for children over six months of age.
